Maria Monko (born November 26, 1990 in Kirov) is a Russian ice dancer.
Early in her career, Monko competed with Alexander Bortsov on the national level. From 2006 through 2008, she competed with Ilia Tkachenko. They teamed up in 2006 and were the 2007 Russian Junior national silver medalists. They placed 5th at the 2007 World Junior Championships. They are the 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final champions. For the 2008–2009 season, they were assigned to Skate America and Trophée Eric Bompard and prepared new programs,[1] however, they did not compete in either event. Their partnership dissolved in 2008.[2]
Monko's sister Ksenia Monko is also an ice dancer.
